Minnesota Political Contribution Refund Program (PCR)

DONATING TO OUR CAMPAIGN CAN BE FULLY REEFUNDABLE!

The Minnesota Political Contribution Refund Program is a great way for any Minnesotan to support local politics. The program allows individuals to apply for a refund of all or a portion of contributions to a candidate up to $75 per person or $150. Once applied for, individuals then receive a full refund from the Minnesota Department of Revenue.

Who can claim this refund?

You must be, or be eligible to be, a registered voter in Minnesota.

Also, all of these must apply:

• You are a United States citizen.

• You are age 18 years or older.

• You lived in Minnesota for at least 20 days immediately before any 2024 statewide or local election in which you would be eligible to vote if you were registered.

Step 2: Wait for your donation receipt and refund application to be sent to you.

You will receive a receipt (EP3-Form) along with PCR application form in the mail in approximately 6 weeks. Alternatively, upon recieving your donation receipt, you can download the 2024 Refund application here.

Step 3: Completing and Mailing the 2023 PCR Application Form + Receipt

(The deadline to submit this form if you make a PCR donation this year is tax day next year – April 15, 2025.)

To receive your refund, be sure to submit your application any time before the tax filing deadline.
